Online clothes supplier makes smart move to new premises
An online supplier of clearance clothing and footwear has relocated to a new home twice the size of its previous site in Ilkeston.
TED24 Sports, which sells brands such as Nike, Under Armour, adidas, Regatta and more, has moved to a new warehouse at The Ropewalk after outgrowing its previous base within six months of taking on the lease.
The new space gives the business extensive new warehousing space and larger office facilities to accommodate an additional staff member and serve wholesale customers better.
The business was founded by Ashley Allen in 2022 after he was made redundant from his previous role as an operations manager for a local menswear retailer.
He said: “It is an exciting time for the business and I am extremely proud of what I have been able to achieve within the first year of the business.
“That’s why I felt now was the right time – heading into the peak period – to take the bigger unit to continue the growth pattern within a building that better suits where I want to take the business long-term.
“The units larger size gives me the capability of recruiting my first staff member as order volume continues to rise, while the additional space for new warehousing will help me serve new and existing wholesale customers a lot more efficiently.
James McArthur, director at NG Chartered Surveyors, which manages the property, added: “Pleasure doing the deal with you Ashley and great to see you grow and thrive.”
