On the move: the latest East Midlands hires

trentbarton has welcomed Amber Fairweather as its new marketing and communications assistant.
Fairweather joined the bus operator from an account manager role at the news publisher National World. Prior to that she was a wholesale and corporate business development team leader at the Derbyshire artisan doughnut bakery Project D.
She will work alongside Scarlet McCourt, who earlier this year was promoted to be trentbarton’s marketing and communications manager.
Fairweather said: “As a public transport rider myself I am proud to be part of the really good bus company.
“Having worked with trentbarton over the years to help build their advertising campaigns, I am now so excited to be part of its marketing and communications team.”
McCourt said: “It’s really great to have Amber on the team. She is creative and enthusiastic, which works perfectly with our shared ambition to communicate excitingly and effectively with our current and future customers.”
Nottingham digital agency, Hallam, has expanded its paid media team.
The expansion sees the promotion of Simran Harichand and Amani Majed to senior paid media consultant roles and welcomes new hire, Maria Paschalidou.
Jack Brown, head of paid media at Hallam, said: “We’re thrilled to welcome Maria to the team as a senior paid media consultant. With a remarkable track record of success in the digital marketing space and five years of omnichannel paid advertising experience, she’s already delivering award-winning results for our largest clients across paid search and social. Similarly, both Amani and Simran have delivered consistently impressive results for our clients and are both thoroughly deserving of their promotions.”
Brown added: “It’s been a really exciting year for our team; it’s a testament to their hard work to ensure our clients are getting the best from their budget. The award wins, promotions and team expansion are a perfect reflection of the efforts put into each and every campaign we deliver.”
