Residential development in Leicestershire reaches completion

Wynbrook Homes has announced the completion of a residential development in Somerby, Leicestershire, in partnership with Sepia Developments and Lock Key Properties.
The site, approved by Melton Borough Council in February 2021, features a range of homes, including two 2-bedroom semi-detached, two 3-bedroom semi-detached houses, three 3-bedroom detached bungalows, and two 5-bedroom houses.
All properties were designed by the architects at HSSP, while Edward Cooper Young Chartered Surveyors served as the employer’s agents for the JV Partnership, while local firm Benton’s handled the Estate Agency.
Steve Day, director of Wynbrook Homes said: “It’s been a great scheme to have delivered for the JV Partnership utilising Wynbrook ’s homes experience through the build process. As a collective team, we have built something very special in a fabulous location.”
Ashley Cooper, director of Sepia Developments said: ‘We are delighted with the finished scheme set within the heart of the Leicestershire countryside. The vision of the scheme was always to provide an excellent bespoke product for our purchasers to set up a home in the wonderful rural setting of Somerby which we have achieved. The development partnership between Sepia, Wynbrook and our lead professional advisor Edward Cooper Young has enabled the scheme to be steered in the right direction despite all the external challenges the housebuilding industry has experienced over the last 18 months’.
All homes were sold and occupied by September 2023.
