Running wear firm sold in pre-pack deal

A Leicestershire firm which sells running undergarments has been sold out of administration in a pre-pack deal.

Following the appointment of Tom Straw and Gareth Harris of RSM Restructuring Advisory as Joint Administrators of Chambers Ling, a pre-pack sale of the company was sealed to Masters of Mayfair.

Masters of Mayfair is a British luxury lifestyle brand that produces sleeping masks, socks, pillows and room and pillow sprays.

Chambers Ling, which trades as Runderwear, has operated in the running undergarment sector for 10 years. The company, which has its head office at Burrough on the Hill, Melton Mowbray, operates online and sells its products via ecommerce channels such as Google, Facebook, Amazon and its own website.

The company faced financial difficulties due to cost inflation amongst a challenging post-Covid e-commerce environment, said the administrators.
