Packaging firm faces uncertain future as administrators called in
Surepak, a Nottinghamshire-based manufacturer specialising in flexible packaging for the food industry, is set to appoint administrators, TheBusinessDesk.com understands.
The firm has applied to enter administration through law firm Smith Partnership.
Established in 1992, Surepak has been a key player in producing bags and pouches catering to various sectors, including confectionery, horticulture, and gardening.
Operating out of a 45,000 sq ft premises in Nottingham, the company employed 34 staff members as of December 2022. However, as indicated by the latest financial accounts, Surepak still has outstanding lease payments.
