On the move: the latest East Midlands hires

Richard Wright

Derby-based recruitment firm Ford and Stanley has appointed Richard Wright as its new head of sales for ‘Talentwise’, the blue-collar skilled and semi-skilled division of the group’s recruitment branch.

Since joining the company as a senior recruitment consultant in 2015, Wright has leveraged his extensive knowledge and network within the rail sector to fuel the growth of Talentwise.

His leadership has resulted in multiple promotions and the development of an expanding team.

He said: “I am thrilled to be part of a fantastic, supportive team at Ford and Stanley. The team has established itself as a trusted and innovative force for skilled, blue-collar recruitment; I’m incredibly proud to see how we’ve grown. Thank you to all at Ford and Stanley for their continued support towards my career development and
progression. Here’s to the next step.

“Our mission is to provide our candidates and clients with better workdays, which has been the cornerstone of our success as well as the dedication and hard work of the team.”

Ford & Stanley Chairman, Peter Schofield said: “The Talentwise business area has not only grown to become a significant part of Ford & Stanley Group services, but also to be widely recognised as a dynamic talent partner of choice for some of the UK’s most progressive employers. Ricky has been instrumental in growing this unique service, to ensure our clients not only benefit from our expertise and experience in sourcing the best
talent, but also from a fully comprehensive offering which gives access to pre-employment medical screening, industry-accredited training, onboarding support and occupational mental fitness support.”

Digital agency, Hallam continues to develop its client services department, welcoming a new hire and internal promotion to its project management team.

Lee Fletcher

The expansion sees the promotion of Lee Fletcher to senior project manager and welcomes new hire, Ellie Swain, in the position of junior project manager.

Ellie Swain

Kate Vines, head of project management at Hallam, said: “We’re thrilled to welcome Ellie to the team as a Junior Project Manager. Ellie has impressed us immensely with her organisational skills, a keen eye for detail and get-after-it attitude.

“Since Lee joined Hallam two years ago, I’ve been blown away by his desire to go above and beyond for clients and colleagues alike – this promotion is thoroughly deserved. With Ellie and Lee in the team, I truly believe our project management offering is in the strongest position it’s ever been.”

Julia Charlton, client services director, added: “I’m delighted to be both growing our Project Management team with Ellie, and recognising the excellent work Lee delivers daily with his promotion. It’s been a really exciting year for Hallam as we continue to grow our presence domestically and internationally, and the award nominations, promotions and team expansion are a perfect reflection of the efforts put into all we deliver for our clients.”
