Agency round-up: Tank; Poppy PR

Tank's head office in Nottingham

Digital PR agency Tank, has been appointed by listed home improvement firm, Eurocell.

The deal will see Tank support Eurocell’s brand and search goals, delivering digital PR, SEO, content, organic social media and brand PR support.

Eurocell manufactures and distributes PVC-U windows and doors, and offers more than 9,400 home improvement products across its 140 branches, and through its fabricator partners to homeowners, trade customers and housebuilders in the UK. Its products include conservatories, extensions, roofing solutions, garden rooms, composite decking and fencing, and composite front doors.

Beth Boulton, marketing director, Eurocell, said: “We are aiming to grow sales across a number of key product lines this year, as well as increase our brand awareness for homeowners. This meant we were looking for a multi-service agency that could support and complement our marketing efforts, helping us capitalise on new opportunities as well as maintain our reputation in the trade industry.

“We were impressed with Tank’s integrated digital and traditional approach and expertise, and we are excited to work with them in 2024 to achieve our ambitious marketing and business goals.”

Max Bevis, director at Tank, added: “We are delighted to be working with Eurocell, a business with bold marketing objectives and big plans for the year ahead. We’re looking forward to exercising our expertise in its various sectors to help it reach those targets.”

Castle Donington-based Poppy PR has re-hired one of its first members of staff, Emma Turner.

Turner first joined the company as a PR executive in 2015 after graduating with a master’s degree in Magazine Journalism at Nottingham Trent University, and re-joins the team with 10 years of communications experience.

Tina Clough, who runs Poppy PR alongside business partner Phil Stubbs, said: “It’s been a joy to have Emma back. Having another experienced journalist on the team has strengthened our PR services package even further, which already has more than 100 years of combined expertise and industry knowledge.

“Emma brings with her bags of magazine, marketing and feature-writing experience which adds another string to Poppy PR’s bow, and we can’t wait to work more closely with her over the coming year.”

Poppy, founded in 2010, landed top prize in the Creative & Media category at last year’s East Midlands Business Masters Awards in Nottingham, which it says unleashed a string of enquiries from potential new clients.

“Poppy PR is where I fell in love with writing and sharing stories,” said Turner. “So when I saw that they were looking to expand their team, it felt like the perfect opportunity to get in touch with Tina and meet for a catch-up!”

“The team at Poppy PR are a joy to work with – not only because they secure incredible coverage for their clients, but because of the relationships they build along the way. They are a business with heart, and I am so pleased to be working with them again.”
