Loughborough pharmacy and post office under new ownership

Property business advisors Christie & Co have announced the sale of Saraj Pharmacy & Post Office in Loughborough.

Saraj Pharmacy & Post Office is a community pharmacy and dispenses an average of 7,300 items per month. Additionally, it includes a Post Office business with three counters.

Owned by Saraj Patel and his family for over 40 years, the decision to sell was made to facilitate their retirement.

After a confidential sales process led by Carl Steer at Christie & Co, the pharmacy and post office were acquired by Rahul and Anup Patel for an undisclosed price.

The new owners, who already own 14 pharmacies across the East Midlands, are poised to continue the legacy of Saraj Pharmacy & Post Office.
