Security protection firm announces new operations director
Octavian Security UK has announced the promotion of Nickie Hume to operations director.
Hume joined Octavian Security UK 18 years ago as a security officer and has worked his way up the firm’s ladder.
The Nottinghamshire-based security protection firm provides trained, SIA-licensed and professional manned security guarding for all on-site security requirements, whether for retail, port, education, local authority, commercial or industrial premises.
Hume said: “The industry as a whole has evolved. Changes are constant and it’s no longer simply about providing a Security Officer on site; these days we offer a full service of tech and systems – along with all the accreditations our discerning customers demand. My ambitions for my new role include continuing to represent Octavian Security UK to the best of my ability and deliver on strengthening and growing the business with the help of everyone from the Ghuman family to the team on the ground.”
