Truck and trailer rental firm collapses into administration
A Derbyshire truck and trailer rental business has collapsed into administration, TheBusinessDesk.com understands.
PT Hire, which is based in Swadlincote, has filed for administration via law firm Harrison Clark Rickerbys. The move comes two weeks after the firm posted an initial notice of intention to appoint administrators.
In its latest accounts, made up to the end of March 2023, PT Hire had net assets of just over £1.2m. At the time it employed 14 people.
PT Hire, which describes itself as “one of the UK’s most widely respected providers of commercial vehicle contract hire and rental solutions” on its website, has been contacted for comment.
The news comes just a week after fellow East Midlands firm CTS Transport filed for administration.
