Software provider creates over 650 jobs at global operations centre

The Access Group, a business management software provider based in Loughborough, has created 654 new jobs at its global operations centre in Timişoara, Romania, within its first 18 months.
Since opening in May 2023, the Romanian office has grown, expanding from 452 to 1,106 employees.
The new roles cover various departments, including marketing, sales, product development, engineering, customer support and finance.
Supporting education and developing local skills is a key priority for The Access Group.

“We embrace sustainability at every level, which guides our operations and drives long-term growth by ensuring we meet the needs of our customers, stakeholders, and local communities while protecting the planet for future generations.”
Over the past 18 months, it has built partnerships with the Polytechnic University of Timişoara and the West University of Timişoara, helping students enhance their digital skills and career prospects.
The company has also launched a Digital Academy in Timişoara, with its Early Careers team supporting 32 graduates, including 23 software engineers and 9 QA engineers.
Through its Access Foundation, it has awarded nine grants totalling £89,327 to fund community and environmental projects.
These include initiatives with organisations like Asociatia Scoala Mamei Junior, Little John’s House Marius and Friends Association, and United Way Romania.
