On the move: the latest East Midlands hires

Dimple Chohan has been named lead UI/UX developer at technology company Digital Planning.

Her promotion comes after the company – based in Barrow-upon-Soar – secured another major new client account.

The De Montfort University graduate was previously senior digital experience designer and Developer at the Leicestershire agency.

Digital Planning provides tailored digital and AI solutions.

Co-director James Ferraby said: “Dimple has wide experience in design and has produced outstanding work since joining the company. She richly deserves this opportunity to progress.

“We can’t wait to see more examples of her craft – both for our clients and ourselves as the business continues to grow.”

Craig Edwards

Leicester-based family-owned plastic packaging manufacturer Measom Freer has appointed Craig Edwards to help drive strategic growth and generate new business within the chemical market.

Edwards brings a wealth of industry experience to the business having previously worked at plastic packaging manufacturer Faerch UK, and more recently, packaging distributor Pont Packaging.

He said: “During my career I have sold packaging in a number of different materials, but for me, plastic is the sustainable material I am most passionate about.

“My experience working for both a manufacturer and distributor has provided invaluable experience and I’m looking forward to working with the team to break into new markets and position Measom Freer as the leading manufacturer of plastic packaging in the UK.

“I was attracted to Measom Freer because of its family culture and values. It’s a very hands-on role and I enjoying having the opportunity to work with all areas of the business from design to production to deliver excellent service.”
