Regional investment fund pumps £150,000 into accountancy firm

Accountancy firmJackson Stapleton, has landed a £150,000 funding package through the Midlands Engine Investment Fund II via appointed fund manager East and South East Midlands, Maven Capital Partners.

Scunthorpe-based Jackson Stapleton Accountants was established in 2017. In 2021 it acquired a Lincoln-based office, previously known as Fawcett & Co.

The funding through the Midlands Engine Investment Fund II will enable continued, sustainable growth through further acquisition of a practice in Retford, to grow the company’s regional business footprint, and develop its client base.

The Midlands Engine Investment Fund II launched in February aims to support businesses across the Midlands region with equity and debt funding options to help businesses achieve their growth ambitions.
