Four-mile tailback as traffic stopped on M1 near Leicester

Traffic has been stopped on the M1 southbound between junctions 21a and J21 at Leicester due to a collision.

Emergency services and National Highways traffic Officers are on scene.

A statement from National Highways said: “There’s a 30-minute delay on approach with four miles of congestion. Please allow extra journey time.”
