On the move: the latest East Midlands hires

Law firm Freeths has added to its national employment team with a number of new hires – including in the East Midlands.
Led by partner and national head of employment, pensions and immigration, Rena Magdani, the team has announced eight new lawyers across seven of its 13 offices.
The team has welcomed Fergus Currie (employment barrister, Bristol), Mitchell Roberts (senior associate, Leicester), Lisa Aitken (senior associate, Birmingham), Stephanie Clarke (senior associate, Milton Keynes), Jainika Patel (senior associate, Manchester), Sophie Lloyd (associate, Nottingham), Claudia Booth (associate, Sheffield) and Ellie Wise (qualifying as associate, Milton Keynes).
Rena Magdani said: “I am delighted to welcome our eight new lawyers to the Team. This expansion is a direct response to our unprecedented growth and the increased demand for employment law advice, particularly driven by the Employment Rights Bill. This strategic growth ensures we continue to provide first-class, commercially astute, and pragmatic advice to our national client base.”
Katherine Logan
Managed service provider Air IT, has announced two key leadership appointments.
Following the recent appointment of Barney Taylor as CEO, the company has welcomed Katherine Logan as chief people officer (CPO) and Andy Moss as chief financial officer (CFO).
Logan joins from PE-backed Go City and has previous had spells at Breaking Wave, Tesco and Sainsbury’s.
Moss has over 25 years of experience at the likes of Wren Sterling and Cable & Wireless.

Care Fertility, the Nottingham fertility treatment provider, has announced that Michael Henry will take over as CEO from 17 April.
He replaces outgoing CEO David Burford’s and has been appointed by Care Fertility’s board and owners Nordic Capital
Most recently, Henry served as chief Operating officer at IVC Evidensia, the provider of veterinary care.
Henry said: “I am deeply honoured to join Care Fertility, an organisation that has transformed the lives of countless families through its compassionate and innovative approach to fertility patient care. I look forward to building on the incredible legacy of David Burford, working alongside the talented teams across Care Fertility, and continuing our mission to make family possible for everyone.
