On the move: the latest East Midlands hires

The East Midlands office of accountancy firm Grant Thornton has appointed Mayuri Dhanak as marketing and business development assistant.
Dhanak joins the firm after more than three years as marketing and member services co-ordinator at the British Precast Concrete Federation, where she led the organisation’s marketing activities and organised its national programme of events, exhibitions, conferences and seminars.
Business gifts and promotional merchandise supplier Pellacraft has appointed Luke Christie as a graphic designer.
Christie has a BA Hons in Graphic Design and lives in Retford. He previously designed signage and vehicle livery for a sign making company and prior to that worked as a graphic designer creating artwork for projects that included football club merchandise, scooter and skateboard designs, product packaging and advertisements for print and web.

The managing director of Derby and Ashbourne funeral directors G Wathall & Son has been appointed to the board of Golden Charter – the provider of funeral plans.
Helen Wathall is one of three independent funeral directors and the only female director on the Golden Charter Board which is owned by the not-for-profit organisation, SAIF Charter, made up of members of the Society of Allied and independent Funeral Directors.
