Nottingham-based law firms Rothera Dowson and Sharp Young & Pearce have now officially joined forces and began trading as Rothera Sharp.

Two of the city’s most established law firms have now completed their merger, creating a 20-partner practice with over 100 legal professionals.

Speaking at the official launch on 1 June, Rebecca Emeleus Moreton, partner at Rothera Sharp said: “This has been a really exciting time for both firms and we’re really happy to have officially launched. The merger shows a real sign of intent for our collective growth in the region and everyone can’t wait to start operating under one umbrella.”

Wayne Vickers, solicitor at Rothera Sharp, added: “We’re all thrilled to have joined forces in terms of our commercial operation and we are looking forward to strengthening our close relationships with clients over the coming months and years.”
