Truck hire firm motors on despite relocation woes

An East Midlands truck hire company has seen its profits double – despite having to move premises with only nine month’s notice last year.
Alltruck, which is headquartered in Croft, Leicestershire, but also has depots in Loughborough and Nottingham, made a profit of £712,466 on a turnover of £18.7m for the year-ending 29 February, up from £356,127 in 2015.
Alltruck moved to Croft last year, and also spent £800,000 on a new workshop, truck rental, bodybuilding and VOSA testing centre in Loughborough.
The firm says it expects a “controlled growth” in revenues of between 5 and 7% over the next two years.
Alltruck saw an increase in staff numbers over the period, and now employs 97 people across its three sites.
