Wollaton Park prepares for a sell-out at Splendour Festival

Nottingham’s most popular music festival returns to Wollaton Park on Saturday 23 July, with a fantastic day out lined up for a capacity crowd of 20,000 music fans.

Tickets have been selling fast thanks to a great line up, including Jess Glynne, The Human League, UB40 and The Darkness – and have now completely sold out.

Splendour is famous as the city’s biggest summer day out and has been shortlisted in the final three for Best Festival in the national Live Music Business awards.

Ticket holders can enjoy storming sets from the headliners and other acts across three stages, plus lots happening all over the park, including comedy in the courtyard, a kids’ area and entertainers out and about in the crowd.

Councillor Dave Trimble, portfolio holder for leisure and culture at Nottingham City Council, said: “Splendour is the jewel in the crown of our events programme and we’re proud to work with DHP to put on the festival, as well as offering Nottingham city residents a discounted ticket price.

“Splendour truly offers something for all tastes in music, and with the comedy stage and kids’ area, Saturday looks set to be a really fun family day out.”
