Want to become a Jedi this weekend?…

Fancy a weekend break on Tatooine? Fans of Star Wars in Nottingham are in for a treat this weekend, as a new virtual reality gaming exhibit lands at the NVA (The National Videogame Arcade) in Hockley, Nottingham.
To celebrate the arrival of our new virtual reality experience, Trials on Tatooine, NVA are hosting a special Summer Star Wars celebration.
This Saturday and Sunday (23rd/24th July), the NVA are offering a special weekend break on Luke Skywalker’s home planet. If you think it’s hot now, just wait until there are two suns..
All over the NVA, there will be a Bounty Hunter’s paradise of Star Wars gaming activity to take part in.
Trials on Tattooine: The Star Wars VR Experience is landing in Nottingham, and you can become a Jedi.
Help R2D2 fix the Millennium Falcon, take guidance from Han Solo to defend yourself from Imperial Stormtroopers and wield your very own lightsabre!
There will also be lots of Star Wars games from the NVA archives available to play in the galleries, including Star Wars Battle Chess, Rogue Squadron I and II, Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga, The Force Unleashed, and lots of arcade games.
Jedi can also search around our galleries in an interactive exhibit for missing droids, locate them and bring them home to the Rebel Alliance. Players will be rewarded for each droid they find.
Players are also invited to come dressed as their favourite Star Wars character, with prizes given out for the best costumes.
The NVA is open from 10am-6pm everyday, with the Star Wars activity running throughout the
summer in special galactic galleries until 5th September.
