Olivia Maginn, transport and motoring law barrister at Nottingham-based Rothera Sharp, tells how she winds down at the weekend.

How do you relax at the weekend?
Weekends presently are a mixture of attending kids’ birthday parties and running them around to wherever they have got to be! When not on mum duty, I relax by cooking and catching up on mini-series.

How many hours do you work at the weekend on average?
I rarely work at weekends now since I’ve moved to an in-house role. My diary is much more stable which allows the necessary work to be completed during the working week.

What’s your favourite…
Holiday destination? I simply love Thailand as it has it all, from the hustle and bustle in the major cities, to the stunning beaches.

Book? One of my all time favourites has to be Mo Hayder’s ‘Birdman’, it’s a bit gruesome but I love it!

Album? ‘Back to Black’ by Amy Winehouse never gets boring.

Food? Italian is always a favourite in our household.

TV Programme? I’m really enjoying Billions. Damian Lewis is a great actor and it’s got me gripped.

Website or app? I love Facebook as it’s a great way to keep in touch with old friends.

How do you usually spend Sunday evenings?
As all good weekends should end – friends and family, red wine and good food!
