Derby healthcare firm sells medical packs arm

Derby healthcare firm Pennine Healthcare has sold its medical procedure packs division to Unisurge, based in Newmarket.

Pennine Healthcare is one of the UK’s leading privately owned manufacturers of single use, sterile medical devices and customer procedure packs. The firm employs 380 people in Derby.

Cooper Parry acted as lead advisers to the shareholders of Pennine Healthcare. Fraser Cunningham from East Midlands law firm, Smith Partnership, provided legal advice to the selling shareholders, whilst Philip Speer from Thomas Webb and Corfield acted for the buyers.
