YourNews: 50 jobs up for grabs at new Gusto restaurant in West Bridgford
STYLISH restaurant brand, Gusto, is hosting a recruitment day on January 10 and 11, at The Poppy & Pint pub in Lady Bay, to fill 50 job roles in time for the restaurant launch in February.
A number of full and part-time roles will be available at West Bridgford’s newest restaurant, including servers, bartenders, hosts, bussers, barbacks and chefs of all levels, to further boost employment in the city’s lively food and drink scene.
Located on Bridgford Road the new Gusto restaurant will be in the heart of West Bridgford’s busy bar and restaurant scene – and a million-pound investment will transform the former Monkey Tree restaurant into the luxurious and sophisticated restaurant bar.
Sue Crimes, Managing Director for Gusto, said: “We’re really excited to open our latest bar and restaurant, especially in the vibrant West Bridgford location. By hosting a recruitment day in January, with 50 vacancies available, we hope to create great opportunities for the local people, as well as finding the best fit for the jobs that are on offer.

The recruitment day, which is open to all, will be from 10 am onwards on both days. The day will feature drop in recruitment and interviews for the range of roles that are available.
The award-winning restaurant, which is set to open its doors February this year, will offer a classic and contemporary menu for evening dining, as well as lunch, brunch and family friendly options. There will also be a contemporary bar, featuring a creative cocktail menu and a comprehensive wine list.
