Gittins joins Fairpoint as FD

JOHN Gittins has been appointed finance director of Chorley-based Fairpoint Group.

The 51-year-old who takes up- his new role on October 1 – is one of the North West’s most experienced FDs.

He has more than 17 years’ experience in the public markets, with growing service businesses including Spring Group  and Manchester-based Begbies Traynor Group.

Gittins, who has also worked for NCC Group, the IT security group, is also non executive director and chair of the audit committee of Electricity North West.

Fairpoint chairman Matthew Peacock said: “The board would like to welcome John to the group and are confident that his wide ranging experience across a range of high growth service businesses will allow him to make a valuable contribution to the group.”
