Jericho gets £200,000 to recruit medics

NEWLY-established recruiter Jericho Recruitment Services has secured £200,000 funding from Barclays for additional healthcare staff.
Barclays has agreed the working capital facility to help Blackburn-based Jericho Recruitment recruit GPs and nurses.
Wes Connor from Jericho said: “I needed a working capital facility setting up quickly in order that we could respond to the large number of staffing requests we are receiving as we pride ourselves on first class customer service.
“We met Rob Weston from Barclays Cash Flow Finance an hour after putting a call into Dave Seaton, our Barclays Relationship Manager.
“Within days we had secured the funding with the facility going live only five days after my first call into our relationship manager. The facility will enable us to respond quickly in providing key medical staff across the UK which at present is in high demand”.
Mr Weston said: “Knowing how important it was to get medical staff into surgeries, especially at this time of year, we needed to act quickly and efficiently. With the help of Kate Barnard, credit manager at Barclays, we worked together in prioritising the application in order to deliver the funding ahead of the timescale needed.”
