Bluestone expands with new office

INDEPENDENT leasing firm Bluestone is expanding with a new office in the North West.

Wakefield-based Bluestone Leasing specialises in funding companies leasing IT, telecommunications and audiovisual equipment as well as furniture.

The company, which began trading in 1996, has seen business double over the past 12 months.

Bluestone Leasing chief executive Phillip Bennett said: “This is an exciting time for Bluestone as the company continues to witness strong growth.

“We have many customers in the North West and the decision to open an office in Stockport reflects our commitment to our clients in the region.”

Bluestone’s customers include Texaco and Thomas Cook as well as public sector clients in education, healthcare and local authorities.

Managing Director Vineesh Madaan said: “As bank credit and debt has dried up over the past 12 months we have witnessed a significant increase in demand for our services as companies and public sector organisations seek to cut their costs and manage their cash flow more effectively.”
