Barton Willmore opens in Manchester

PLANNING and design consultancy Barton Willmore is to open a new office in Manchester to serve the North West region.

The firm will take space in a building in the city’s Spinningfields district, It will be the firm’s tenth UK office and it will be run by partner Dan Mitchell, who currently runs the firm’s Leeds office.

He will be joined by associate planner Chris Edge, who joins the firm from HOW Planning.

“At a time when the Government is looking to the private sector to drive economic growth, we are really excited about this opportunity to expand our business in the North West,” said Mitchell.

“Our clients have been calling for us to have a presence in the region for some time and this move will allow us to respond more effectively to their needs.”
