Bruntwood fills The Exchange building

COMMERCIAL property company, Bruntwood, has let the last of the remaining space at The Exchange building on New York Street, Manchester.

Private equity firm ISIS has taken 1,489 sq ft to fill the 32,000 sq ft building.
Bruntwood said that New York St had been transformed into a “contemporary thoroughfare” as part of one of the city’s first privately-funded public realm improvement schemes.

The £1.35m upgrade has included a better retail offer, new tree-lined pavements and new street furniture.

The Exchange building has also had its own refurbishment to bring the offices up to Grade A standard.

Andrew Cowell, head of sales for Bruntwood in Manchester, said: “Reaching maximum occupancy at The Exchange highlights how desirable and sought-after the building is.”

He added: “The regeneration of this area and public realm works reflects Bruntwood’s long-term vision to develop and shape our cities.”
