Colliers backs Irish bookie Paddy Power
IRISH bookmaker Paddy Power has chosen Manchester as the home of its first licensed betting shop in northern England.
The 2,300sq ft location in Stockport Road, Levenshulme, was acquired by the Manchester office of property agents Colliers CRE. It opened for business this week.
Colliers CRE has also acquired the site of what will be the second Paddy Power site, in Manchester City Centre when it opens in late July – a 1,380sq ft unit at City Tower, Piccadilly Gardens.
Paddy Power is looking to open more than 150 shops throughout the UK – it already has more than 250 outlets in Ireland, Northern Ireland and southern England.
