Appointments: RCA appoints Price as non-exec

ARCHITECTURAL and interior design company RCA Interiors has appointed Simon Price as a non-executive director.

Cheshire-based RCA Interiors, formerly Richard Chadwick Associates, has rebranded and recruited Mr Price, a director at Preston-based property developer Ice Blue, to help develop and grow the business.

Formed in 1994, by Richard Chadwick and Nicholas Darnley, the hospitality and commercial property interior design company has worked on designing and developing outlets such as Living Room, Rain Bar and Velvet in Manchester, as well as working for clients nationwide including Q Hotel Group, Hallmark Hotels and Paramount Hotels.

Mr Darnley said: “We have known Simon for more than 20 years and are well aware of his track record. It is a coup for us to attract someone of his calibre and experience to join RCA Interiors and help us drive the business forward, while allowing Richard to concentrate on developing our trademark innovative designs.”

Mr Price was previously a director of the Devonshire Pub Group and has also been involved with rolling out leading national pub brands across the country, from concept to delivery, including interior design and overall branding.
