Law firm buys office building for £8.5m
LAW firm Linder Myers has bought itself a new headquarters building in Manchester for £8.5m.
The firm has bought 55 Spring Gardens, which contains 47,500 sq ft of office space from Hermes Real Estate Investment Managers (HREIM), which held the property on behalf of BT’s pension scheme.
The building is almost fully let to a series of tenants such as CBRE and Friends Provident, who are on short-term leases. There is also some retail space available at ground floor level.
WHR Property Consultants acted on behalf of HREIM while Berkeley Brown represented Linder Myers. Hill Dickinson also provided legal advice.
Linder Myers currently occupies office space at Phoenix House on Cross Street, Manchester.
