JCI Manchester to roll out red carpet for world president

MANCHESTER is hosting the international head of the JCI – the network for young professionals and business leaders – during a two day visit next week.
JCI Manchester – part of the global JCI (Junior Chamber International) personal development organisation will welcome World President, Kentaro Harada, when he visits from Japan next Sunday and Monday.
During his visit Mr Harada will address a dinner for JCI members at the Mint Hotel and on Monday attend a networking breakfast at law firm JMW’s office, which will include a panel discussion on Manchester’s commercial past and future.
JCI is a worldwide federation of young leaders and entrepreneurs with over 250,000 active members in over 100 countries.
JCI Manchester aims to develop the skills of its members by organising events in their own free time, focused on business, training, community, social and international aspects.
Debbie Rainford, president of JCI Manchester, and a solicitor at JMW said: “The two days spent here will enable JCI’s World President to truly experience Manchester’s culture and commercial capability.
“Above all, we are excited about the free breakfast event as it will provide the city’s diverse and thriving business community with a rare opportunity to network with a high profile Japanese business contact.”
