New Care, one of the UK’s fastest growing development-led care home operators, has opened the doors to its latest care home, creating 80 jobs in Sale, Greater Manchester.

The £10m 57-bed Ashlands Manor was officially opened by Graham Brady, the Conservative MP for Altrincham and Sale West, and leader of Trafford Council, Sean Anstee.

Designed by Salford-based architects Street Design Partnership and built construction company McGoff & Byrne, Ashlands Manor is a ‘new generation’ care facility.

New Care bosses say it will provide the highest standards of safety, comfort and care, appealing to the aspiring needs of its south Manchester residents.

Chris McGoff, chief executive at New Care, said: “We are honoured that Graham and Sean were both able to take time out of their busy schedules to officially open Ashlands Manor.  It was a truly memorable way to mark the occasion.”

Brady said: “I was very impressed by the quality of the facilities and by the friendly and professional staff.  I wish Ashlands Manor and all its future residents every success.”

Anstee added: “Making sure we have the facilities to look after the needs of our population is a key priority for Trafford Council and I was really enthused by the quality of facilities and care that will be provided at Ashlands Manor.”
