Relocation for law firm’s expanding real estate team
The real estate department of law firm JMW Solicitors has agreed terms on a lease of 14,000 sq ft at Spinningfields to accommodate the expanding team.
The new office accommodation at 3 Hardman Street is in addition to the firm’s existing office space at 1 Byrom Place.
JMW Real Estate, comprising of residential, financial and commercial property, has signed a nine year lease at 3 Hardman Street.
The new office space on the fourth floor will house 120 partners, fee earners and staff with room for expansion. Since the start of its financial year in May 2017 the team has grown by 70 people which was the catalyst for the move, the firm said.
JMW was advised on the lease by Andrew Timms of Edwards & Co and the landlord, Hardman Trustee No 1 and No 2 Limited, was represented by Savills.
The fit out of the new office space is being undertaken by ADT Workplace, with the team moving by the end of 2017.

As a firm we have grown by 74% in the last five years so needed additional office space close to our existing location at 1 Byrom Place, Spinningfields. It made sense to house our real estate team together on one floor, allowing them to work together for clients utilising both our commercial and residential services.
