Cheshire hotel reveals new look following multimillion-pound refurbishment
A Cheshire hotel has unveiled its brand new look after undergoing a £3m refurbishment project.
Crewe-based Wychwood Park Hotel and Golf Club – operated by Legacy Hotels and Resorts – showcased its transformation at a relaunch event this week, giving regular guests, local businesses and neighbouring residents a first look at the newly-improved facilities.
Among the renovations, which kicked off earlier this year, was a full refurbishment of the hotel’s 110 bedrooms, with brightly-coloured interiors replacing the former décor and a new lock system being introduced to increase efficiency.
The bar and restaurant areas were also given a complete overhaul, while the hotel’s atrium and public areas were rejuvenated with new furnishings and layouts.
Robert Glashan, general manager at Wychwood Park, said: “We are absolutely thrilled to finally unveil our new look in its entirety – from the bedrooms to the public areas, we’ve made sure that we have injected a fresh new look and added a touch of luxury to the overall finish.
“From the outset, we had a clear vision of creating a place that could seamlessly move from a trip for business to one that is a short break. Throughout our journey we’ve kept our core offering the same – we are not simply a hotel, but also a fully-equipped conferencing facility that has been redeveloped into a quality hotel and golf club.”
Set in 200 acres of stunning Cheshire countryside, Wychwood Park features a PGA European Tour-standard 18-hole golf course, 110 bedrooms and 27 function suites and multi-purpose meeting rooms, as well as a restaurant, bar and clubhouse.

The hotel welcomed more than 400 guests to a launch day, offering the chance to sample themed cocktails, try out team-building activities in the meeting rooms, including a special Crystal Quest game, and get an exclusive first look at the refurbished areas.
