Industrial letting secured in Heywood for Bury metals company

Unit 6, Heywood

Avison Young has let Unit 6 at Broadfield Business Park in Heywood to Bornmore (Metals) on a 10-year lease on behalf of its client, the Greater Manchester Property Venture Fund (GMPVF).

Bornmore, which specialises in aluminium, stainless steel, brass and copper, will relocate its 20-strong staff from Bornmore Industrial Estate in Bury to Broadfield Business Park, which will mean that it is fully let.

Ruth Leighton, from Avison Young who acted on behalf of the GMPVF, said: “We are delighted to have been able to agree another deal on behalf of our retained client, GMPVF.

“Broadfield Business Park is a fantastic location and I’m sure that Bornmore will really benefit, not only from the location, but also from the high-quality offering.”

Ian Griffiths managing director of Bornmore (Metals), said: “We are very pleased to have signed the deal to relocate our business to Heywood.

“Broadfield Business Park is on Pilsworth Road, opposite Heywood Distribution Park. It has excellent links to the local motorway network.

“We have a fleet of six vehicles with a daily service to Manchester, Birmingham, Sheffield, the North East and Scotland, so location and access to major motorways was really important to us.”
