Plans for second phase of new homes in Boothstown submitted

The Simpson Gardens plans

Residential developer Mulbury has submitted plans for a further 10 homes at its Simpson Gardens development in Boothstown, near Worsley, Salford.

Construction work began in July on the 20 detached and semi-detached homes in phase one of the scheme which will be marketed for private sale under the developer’s Mulbury Living brand and will soon be launched to the marketplace.

Mulbury has now acquired a further parcel of land next to the brownfield site to accommodate the additional homes.

It has already started works on a project to improve an area of public land within the site with new footpaths and landscaping.

Greg Mulligan, director of Mulbury, said: “We’re pleased to be able to bring forward plans for additional homes within the Simpson Gardens development.

“This scheme will provide attractive family homes in a great location.

“This is a part of Salford where demand for quality new homes is high and where we’ve already had significant interest from prospective purchasers.”

Phase one of the development is scheduled to be completed in Summer 2021.

It is located within walking distance of the much anticipated RHS Bridgewater, a new 154-acre park and gardens at Worsley Old Hall which is due to open in May 2021.
