Salford site 82% leased following latest deal with fitness giant

Raven Locks

US-based exercise equipment and media company Peloton has joined Ulster Weavers and the Howarth Group at Raven Locks in Salford.

The fitness, lifestyle and technology company is set to occupy a 39,000 sq ft unit enabling it to distribute across the North of England, and will be joined at the site by an online retail company taking 29,000 sq ft.

Both businesses have agreed to 10-year leases.

Following practical completion in April 2021, the six-unit property was acquired by Mileway and is now 82% leased.

Each unit offers high quality warehouse space, extensive secure yards and dedicated car parking, along with office accommodation and amenities.

The scheme is well located close to junctions three and four of the M61 and with easy access to the city centre and wider North West.

Robert Kos, industrial and logistics director at professional services firm JLL, which acted for Mileway, said, “Raven Locks offers excellent Grade A space, bolstered by the local amenities and motorway access.

“The scheme has been very successful to date, which is reflective of the current market with limited Grade A space and a strong level of demand.”

Philip Cridge, country director UK at Mileway, said: “We are really pleased to welcome a number of new clients at Raven Locks, which is a fantastic site.

“In Salford and across the UK, we continue to see strong demand for high quality last mile properties which help businesses fulfil their growth ambitions and connect to the communities they serve.”

JLL and DTRE acted for landlord Mileway and CBRE acted for Peloton.
