Administrators appointed to Manchester cyber security firm

Administrators have been appointed to Manchester-based cyber security company, VST Enterprises.

TheBusinessDesk.com understands that Davis Co Holdings appointed Beverley Ellice Budsworth, of The Debt Advisor, as administrator, in order to restructure the business. Both businesses are owned by Louis-James Davis.

VST lists its trading, and registered office, address as The Lexicon, in Mount Street, Manchester.

In September last year VST announced it had signed former football manager, Harry Redknapp, as its global ambassador. He joined forces with former Liverpool player and manager, Sir Kenny Dalglish, and former sports minister, Richard Caborn, to pioneer a UK wide campaign to make entertainment venues safe via the company’s “digital health passport.”

The company has developed a secure digital health passport which is said to work alongside all COVID-19 testing kits and also has its own contact tracing technology which is specifically designed for sports and football stadia, music and theatre venues.

In December 2019 VST Enterprises was embroiled in what it said was a misunderstanding over a winding up petition.

Previously, Mr Davis was a drummer in the rock industry. He toured internationally and recorded mixes with British pop bands Busted and McFly.

His music career was cut short following an accident which resulted in a collapsed lung on stage.
