Property investment firm moves to new HQ as headcount grows

Union

Property investment firm Glenbrook has moved into new city centre headquarters on Manchester’s Albert Square

It has relocated from Clarence House to Bruntwood Works’ Union following the expansion of its workforce which now numbers more than 20 across its development and investment teams.

The move sees the company take 4,618 sq ft on a 10-year lease.

Over the past 12 months, Glenbrook has completed more than £75m of investment transactions and has a development pipeline in excess of £800m to be delivered in the next three years.

Ian Sherry, director at Glenbrook, said: “With the significant uplift in activity on both sides of the business, we have simultaneously scaled up our team to deal with all aspects of project delivery.

“At Glenbrook, we have always prided ourselves on having a strong company culture and this new, modern and open plan workspace will support the collaborative way in which we work as a team and with our extended partners.”

Benn Dickinson, commercial manager at Bruntwood Works, said: “Union offers a blend of high quality, flexible workspace, wellness facilities, breakout spaces and coffee shop by Ditto, all in the heart of the city centre, making it an ideal fit for Glenbrook.

“We have successfully created a collaborative ethos at Union, and are proud to call it Bruntwood’s home, too. We will work closely with Glenbrook as they move into their new workspace and look forward to seeing them round the building.”

Glenbrook and Bruntwood were unrepresented.
