James is a Chartered Surveyor and joined The Peel Group in 1995 as a Lettings Manager for The Trafford Centre after working for Healey & Baker (Cushman & Wakefield) in London.

In 2000 James joined the Development team at Peel and was appointed to Director of Development in 2008 overseeing the delivery of a £30bn regeneration portfolio in the UK and overseas.

James is responsible for Peel L&P’s seven Peel Waters UK-wide regeneration sites that TraffordCity and the soon-to-be home of Therme Manchester, the development of Port Salford and the Embassy Village homelessness project in Manchester.

Peel Waters is set to deliver over 30,000 homes and 10 million sq ft of commercial space over the next 20 years. In July last year, James also raised more than £65,000 for WaterAid by cycling 3,500 miles around the coast of Britain in one month.

The Property Lunch will take place on 4 May at Manchester Hall between 12-3pm.

Tickets are £45 + VAT and includes a two-course lunch.
