Cheshire-based collectibles and gift firm, Fannatik, has been appointed distribution partner for the UK and Ireland by US collectibles company, Handmade by Robots.

It said a growing Handmade by Robots fanbase in the UK presents an opportunity to establish a local distribution partner to support increasing demand for product and directly supply UK and Irish retailers.

Handmade by Robots creates and releases vinyl figures driven by some of the most recognisable entertainment characters in pop culture such as Scooby-Doo, Ghost Face and Batman.

The strategic partnership with Fanattik, a licensing partner for powerhouse brands such as Universal Studios and Hasbro, will enable Handmade by Robots to expand its presence outside of the US.

Mary Olson, creator of Handmade, said: “Partnering with Fanattik will put our collectible figures in the hands of even more fans around the world.

“Fanattik, like us, are obsessed with bringing the most unique and interesting pop culture products to retailers and fans alike.”

Anthony Marks, Fanattik managing director, said: “Fanattik only gets involved in projects that spark our passion and from the moment I saw the Handmade by Roberts figures I knew they were something special.

“We are proud to add Handmade by Robots figures to our portfolio of collectibles and represent their brand in the UK and Ireland.”

Handmade by Robots figures will be available in select stores the fourth quarter of 2022, launching to the wider market in early 2023.

In June last year Fanattik signed a pan-European gift and homeware license for the iconic Rocky franchise with MGM.
