Professional services group, Xeinadin, is relocating to Manchester’s 100 Barbirolli Square, which gives it the capacity to add more than 50 new jobs.

The move, scheduled to take place by June 1, will see KJG Xeinadin Group move from its current address on City Road East into 8,000 sq ft of space on the eighth floor of the prime city centre real estate.

The office will also have capacity to house central Xeinadin teams including operations, marketing, central finance and IT functions as well as some of the Xeinadin corporate finance team, with space allowing for future growth. The new office can accommodate 125 people on a hybrid basis.

KJG Xeinadin Group, which currently has around 70 team members and is actively recruiting, has particular expertise in specialisms including tax advisory and corporate recovery. The office move comes as it celebrates a key hire and a number of promotions across its practice areas.

The firm has appointed Michael Butt as a director in its audit and accounting practice. With nearly 20 years of experience in the sector at Big Four firms, Michael joins from EY where he was based in London. He returns to his native Manchester to KJG, which has the largest audit team in the Xeinadin Group.

As part of his role, Michael will also take on the role as staff partner and oversee team welfare, recruitment and retention, and operations.

The key hire follows a number of recent promotions at KJG including Alessandro Sidoli, promoted to director, corporate recovery, Tom Radcliffe, promoted to tax manager, Jonathan Garrett and Zubair Ali, both promoted to audit and accounts assistant managers, Helen Prescott, promoted to audit and accounts senior, Kate Horton, promoted to audit and accounts senior manager, Martin Brennan and Jake Coombs, promoted to audit and accounts managers, and Nicola Melling, promoted to corporate recovery manager.

Alex White, managing partner, KJG Xeinadin Group, said: “This is an exciting time for us. We’re rewarding a number of our incredible people with promotions as well as bringing in experienced talent from outside like Michael, and the office move gives us a great platform to keep growing as a key hub of Xeinadin.”

Michael Butt said: “Now is a very exciting time to join KJG. As part of the Xeinadin Group, there is access to a wide range of expertise, continuous innovation and professionalism of a big firm whilst retaining the entrepreneurship and close relationships which are hugely valuable to our clients. I am pleased to be back on Mancunian soil and excited to be working with such a great team.”

Xeinadin is a group of business advisory and accountancy practices in more than 135 locations across the UK and Ireland that provides in excess of 40 service lines to around 60,000 clients, predominantly small and medium sized businesses and their owner-managers.

A fast-growing, acquisitive group, the professional services market disrupter, employs more than 1,700 staff.
