Swatch returns to Liverpool One with stand alone concept store

Swiss watch brand, Swatch, is returning to the Liverpool One shopping centre.

Liverpool One owner, Grosvenor, said Swatch will open a 600 sq ft stand alone concept store on Paradise Street, capable of displaying more than 500 different watches.

It was last on the Liverpool One estate in 2015.

The unit will showcase a selection of classic styles and contemporary options from a range of collections.

In line with the brand’s tech-first approach, Swatch said its Liverpool One unit will offer an immersive atmosphere, allowing customers to interact with the products and will feature a Swatch X You space, for consumers to create and personalise their timepieces.

Rob Deacon, asset management director at Grosvenor, said: “Swatch’s decision to return to Liverpool One with its latest stand alone concept store is a testament to our continued commitment to curating an innovative and distinctly unique line-up of retailers.

“We are hugely excited to be welcoming Swatch back to the city, and feel confident that it will sit comfortably among our stellar selection of watch and jewellery brands.”

The announcement follows the news that women’s active streetwear brand, Red Run, has opened its new flagship store at Liverpool One.

Popular clothing and footwear brand, ARNE, has also recently hosted the return of its highly anticipated pop-up store, welcoming hundreds of visitors for its second bricks-and-mortar activation at the retail destination.

Metis and CBRE acted for Liverpool One. Swatch dealt direct.
