Il Forno, the established Italian restaurant on Liverpool’s Duke Street, has launched a new private dining area following a £120,000 investment.

The restaurant, which opened 20 years ago, is targeting large parties, private celebrations, birthdays, baby showers, and intimate weddings as well as corporate businesses and board meetings, with the room boasting a private bar, opulent wine wall and projector.

The private dining area will also serve as a backdrop to bespoke masterclasses and wine tastings, complete with Italian small plates.

Il Forno says it is renowned for its pasta dishes, handmade pizza from its bespoke oven, authentic Italian delicacies, its signature Sunday roast, and its vast selection of wines from around the world, beers and cocktails.

By day, guests booking Il Forno’s private dining area, can choose between Afternoon Tea, Bottomless Brunch and the signature A La Carte menus.

By night, guests can choose from a £65 per person A La Carte menu complete with a choice of 10 different starters and 10 different main dishes. The menu also offers a selection of handmade desserts.

Paolo Cillo, owner and Executive Chef at Il Forno, said: “For years, we’ve been hosting large tables for our guests and have been frequently asked for private dining at Il Forno.

“The opening of our beautiful new private dining area allows for guests to celebrate in their own dedicated space that’s complete with its own bar area and a selection of the finest wines. We’ve invested over £120,000 into making the space as opulent and beautiful as it can be.”
