Fledgling facilities management venture, GAME, in landmark Deansgate Square deal

Manchester-based facilities management (FM) firm GAME has been appointed to manage security services at Deansgate Square, one of Manchester’s most high-profile and iconic residential developments.

GAME, which stands for Go A Mile Extra, secured a three-year contract. The deal will create 14 jobs in Manchester city centre.

The firm is led by industry veteran Gabriel Erinle, known for his role in shaping Manchester’s urban landscape.

The 183,000 sq ft landmark boasts luxury amenities including a 20m indoor pool, modern gym, spa and multi-use sports hall.

GAME will oversee security across residential and communal spaces.

Scott Gallacher, senior property manager at Zenith Management, said: “Deansgate Square is a defining part of Manchester’s skyline and our residents expect nothing less than excellence in service and security.

“GAME stood out for their detailed approach and commitment to quality. We are confident the property will be expertly managed, with security as a top priority.”

Gabriel Erinle said: “With nearly two decades in property and estate management and a vast experience of managing complex estates, I understand the vital role facilities management plays in protecting and enhancing high end developments like Deansgate Square.

“GAME was built to challenge the traditional, corporate FM model. We pride ourselves on being more responsive, aligned with the communities we serve, and more focused on people – both our clients and our team.”

He said GAME is kown for its work on large scale developments and specialises in tailored facilities management solutions.

Over the past 10 months, it has built a portfolio of more than 10 clients, collectively managing assets worth more than £1.2bn within Manchester city centre.
