EasyJet adds Lyon flights from JLA
BUDGET airline EasyJet has announced a new route from Liverpool John Lennon Airport to Lyon in France.
The Lyon flights will commence in December 2010, costing from £25.99 one-way.
Robin Tudor, Peel Airports’ head of PR, said: “This additional service means we now have eight French destinations on sale from Liverpool, covering a range of key areas across France.
“Lyon and its surrounding areas form the second largest metropolitan area in France after that of Paris and this new route should prove popular not only for North West passengers but also for French visitors now able to fly low cost direct to Liverpool for the first time.”
EasyJet, which now offers a total of 28 routes from Liverpool, said it plans to expand further from what it called a “key base”, with more new routes to be announced later this year.
