Software contract win for IDOX

PUBLIC sector software specialist IDOX has won a three-year contract worth £500,000 with Cheshire West and Chester Council.

London-based IDOX will supply software and services to help the  council – which was created in April 2009 from the merger of Chester City Council, Ellesmere Port and Neston Borough Council, Vale Royal Borough Council and Cheshire County Council –  serve its 328,000 residents in areas as diverse as planning, building control, land charges, licensing, trading standards and environmental health
