Clean power developer sweet on JAM

RECRUITMENT company JAM has won a contract with an international clean power systems manufacturer.

JAM, whose industrial cliants already include the manufacturer’s organisation EEF, was awarded the contract by Intelligent Energy which expects to significantly increase its workforce over the next year.

JAM will source candidates to work in a range of disciplines including mechanical engineering, software engineers and supply chain professionals.

Loughborough-based Intelligent Energy has operations in California and offices in London, Bangalore and Osaka.  The company was behind the world’s first purpose built fuel cell motorbike, and, with partner Suzuki, the first ever fuel cell vehicle to achieve European Union type approval.

John Morris, chief executive officer of Sale-based JAM Recruitment, said: “Intelligent energy wanted to work with a recruitment consultancy whose market penetration allows them to support its growth plans.

“There is great competition for the best candidates across the advanced technology sector, so a firm that can quickly secure the right people first time will ensure good progression of their expansion plans.”
