WHR Property Consultants has acquired an 80,000 sq ft modern warehouse on Haydock Industrial Estate on behalf of its client, Oak Tyres.

A 10 year lease at £3 per sq ft was agreed for the property, which is situated on North Florida Road, with the landlord, Cheshire and District Properties.

Simon Hampson of WHR said: “Our client was looking to relocate from its previous head office base in St Helen’s requiring substantially larger premises as part of its long-term expansion strategy. We were able to negotiate a significant rent free period for our client on very competitive terms, which provided clarity to their rental outgoings over the full 10 year lease length.”

CBRE and Jones Lang LaSalle represented the landlord.
